A Singapore-based hotel is seeking a Sales Manager to promote hotel accommodations and F&B event opportunities. Responsibilities include achieving sales targets, developing new corporate business, and managing accounts. Candidates should possess a Diploma/Degree in Business or Hospitality Management and have at least 2 years of sales experience. Interested applicants should send their resume to the provided email.
GENERAL MISSION
1. Promote the hotel accommodation (Corporate) and F&B event opportunities for the hotel.
2. To achieve optimal sales based on defined targets at the best possible conditions for the company and Ensure a well-organized and smooth running sales department
RESPONSIBILITIES AND MEANS SALES MANAGEMENT
• Achieve daily targeted number of sales calls.
• Prepare a monthly list of accounts to penetrate for the following month
• Plan a minimum of 5 site inspections/entertainment meetings per week to on potential accounts or new accounts
• Good on conversions of group business through detailed follow-ups, staying competitive and creativity, to exceed targets for total revenue.
• Perform monthly review account profile on room nights production and average rate
• To develop new corporate business in defined areas and market segments, in line with annual revenue budget.
• Account penetration and marketing activities to maintain a competitive edge
• Fully responsible for accounts under his/her management, including contracting, updating profile and renewing contracts
• Up-sell, cross-sell and promote Hotel facilities & services at every available opportunity in order to maximize sales revenue
• Conduct negotiations to achieve the best profit and rates for the Hotel
• Attend hotel clients and local community business events to network and maintain high visibility.
Other Responsibilities
• Attend all briefings, meetings and training as assigned by management
• Maintain a high standard of personal appearance and hygiene at all times
• Defines precise guest requirements and ensures that the guest services offered correspond effectively to their requests
• Provides after-sales service and in particular, ensures all guests' complaints are efficiently addressed.
• Other duties as assigned by Director of Sales or the management.
Requirements
• Diploma/Degree in Business or Hospitality management or related disciplines
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a sales capacity or equivalent work experience including development of account portfolio and business development.
