Job description

  • Hybrid Work: 2 days work from home
  • Working location: Tampines

Our client, a Japanese shipping & logistic company is hiring for Assistant Sales Manager (Logistics) to join their company.

(50% Existing Clients: 50% Business Development)

  • Generate new clienteles and have own customer base.
  • To work with stakeholders on RFQ participation.
  • Act as customers’ point of contact by liaising closely with relevant departments to ensure that their enquiries, concerns and/or issues are dealt with appropriately and promptly.
  • Assist in implementation and submit Key Performance Indicator (KPI) reports and participate in presentations at QBR and Key Performance Meetings.
  • Manage corporate clients with pivotal care and attention in order to meet and achieve desirable results.
  • Be the internal and external coordinator for all aspects of business relationships for new / assigned accounts.
  • Develop and execute sales and marketing plans and strategies for winning new business.
  • Ability to retain customers and identify areas of opportunity.
  • Responsible for account development and growth.
  • Shipside cargo supervision if required.
  • Other duties as assigned by the reporting manager.
  • Driven by sales and result-oriented.

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of Corporate B2B Sales experience
  • Must possess relevant experience and strong emphasis in business development.
  • Experience in logistics-related industry will be an advantage.
  • Strong communication skills, presentation skills, and attention to detail.
  • Class 3 driving license and owning a vehicle is a plus (can travel via Grab).
  • Additional Transportation Allowance, Petrol Allowance, and Parking Allowance provided (with own vehicle).
