Job description

Job Responsibilities
  1. Manage and develop selected retailer channels.

  2. Develop short- and mid-term business plans to drive brand growth with retailers.

  3. Plan and execute channel strategies and trade promotions for key accounts to achieve sales objectives, aligning strategies with account potential.

  4. Monitor competitive activities, submit monthly reports, and document activities for analysis and future reference.

  5. Create and submit new product listings, promotions, or relevant forms to retailers as needed.

  6. Build strong customer relationships and long-term partnerships with retailers.

  7. Negotiate with retailers to align company objectives with their needs and strategies.

  8. Control Advertising and Promotion (A&P) budgets effectively, monitoring productivity and ROI.

  9. Coordinate with merchandisers to ensure seamless in-store execution and visibility.

  10. Support negotiations at store level to secure optimal space.

  11. Handle key accounts receivables and finance billing.

  12. Perform other duties such as stock takes, exchanges, and returns as required.

Qualifications & Experience
  • Minimum Diploma in business, sales, or retail, with 2-3 years of relevant experience, preferably in FMCG or related industries.

  • Strong understanding of industry and market dynamics.

  • Proven track record of success within supermarket chains such as Fairprice, DFI, etc.

  • Possession of own vehicle is preferred.

  • Sales-minded and solutions-oriented personality.

  • Ability to work independently, with strong business acumen and results orientation.

  • Capable of managing tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

  • Skilled in decision-making and working with numbers.
