Job Summary:An exciting opportunity to join a fast-growing company as an Assistant Manager/Sales Manager to manage and develop sales activities within Singapore.

Responsibilities:
  • Identify and develop new business/clients through sales/cold-calling and other sales activities.
  • Generate new sales leads, negotiate contracts, and close sales.
  • Meet or exceed expected sales targets.
  • Attend to customer feedback/complaints and follow up with high-quality sales services.
  • Act as the main point of contact for customers, liaising closely with relevant departments to address their queries, problems, or issues appropriately.
  • Prepare periodical reports.
  • Give sales presentations to a range of prospective clients.
  • Establish, develop, and maintain existing business and customer relationships.
  • Research the market to identify viable potential clients and narrow down prospects.
  • Perform any other ad-hoc duties assigned.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the freight forwarding industry (experience in Sales/Business Development will be prioritized).
  • Experience in Healthcare, Semiconductor, Hi-Tech, Chemical, FMCG/Consumer markets will be prioritized.
  • Sufficient knowledge in Freight Forwarding (Air & Sea).
  • Demonstrable track record of over-achieving sales targets.
  • Strong business development skills with a proven track record in hunting new accounts.
  • Proper reporting in a timely manner about sales activity.
  • Must be open and honest.
  • Must be brisk, active, and quick at work.
  • Need quick response and reporting in case of any irregularities.
  • Must be accurate in creating reports.
  • Must be time-bound on job completion (i.e., within the set turnaround time, need to complete tasks).
  • Relevant experience in operation work in Air or Ocean operation department is an added advantage.
