Job summary

A leading food distributor in Singapore is seeking an experienced Assistant Sales Manager to drive business growth. You will manage existing key accounts and identify new business opportunities in the market. Strong B2B sales experience and a Bachelor's degree in Business are required. Additional knowledge of Japanese food products is an advantage. This role offers standard working hours from Monday to Friday.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in FMCG, food distribution, or a related industry.
  • Proven track record in B2B sales and account management.
  • Knowledge of Japanese is an added advantage.

Job description

Our client, an established distributor of authentic Japanese food products, is seeking for a Assistant Sales Manager to drive business growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and grow existing key accounts (consumer food service).
  • Identify and secure new business opportunities in local market.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Collaborate with Operations teams for promotional campaigns, new product launches, and inventory planning.
  • Prepare and present regular sales performance reports to management.
  • Negotiate terms and pricing with customers and partners to maximize profitability.
  • Perform any other duties assigned by the HOD.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in FMCG, food distribution, or a related industry; experience in Japanese food products is an advantage.
  • Proven track record in B2B sales and account management.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Strong business sense and industry expertise.
  • Knowledge of Japanese is an added advantage to communicate with management and customers.

Other Information:

  • Office located in Tanjong Penjuru
  • Working hours: Monday to Friday 830am to 530pm
