Responsibilities
  • Achieve sales targets for room sales revenue.
  • Develop new business and manage existing accounts with a focus on building long-term, value-based customer relationships.
  • Engage customers by attending to sales inquiries and conducting site visits.
  • Prepare sales contracts and follow up with clients on event details.
  • Maintain good service standards by checking feedback from guests and making necessary improvements.
  • Generate, review, and analyze weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales reports for the Director of Sales.
  • Participate in ongoing research of the travel industry to detect market trends and related information for the development of new marketing strategies.
  • Make reasonable recommendations to improve potential from various markets.
  • Mentor to guide the team as and when required.
  • Ad-hoc projects or other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • At least 3 years of hotel sales and managerial experience
  • Candidate must possess at least a Diploma in Hospitality/Tourism/Hotel Management or equivalent.
  • Strong problem-solving and solutions provider.
  • Strong negotiation and persuasion skills.
