Key Roles & Responsibilities:
Key Account Management:
- Manage business operations and inventory for key accounts.
- Facilitate communication between the local team, Japan team, and customers (both local and Japanese), with key account PICs being mostly Japanese.
- Review customer requirements and expand business opportunities in SEAI.
Market Analysis and Reporting:
- Attend market research discussions with intelligence agencies to understand business trends, technology advancements, price movements, and maker activities. Share insights with suppliers and customers.
- Support and report market analysis and pricing trends to customers through weekly forecast meetings. Understand customer demands and present them to suppliers.
Supply Chain and Procurement:
- Participate in various supply chain management projects,including facilitating exhibitions.
- Lead new supplier sourcing in the electronics industry, logistics, and financial schemes.
- Support Hitachi High-Tech Factory procurement (Japan), including price and delivery negotiations.
- Support Hitachi BU procurement for other group companies.
Process Improvement and Automation:
- Propose new solutions to improve and automate current processes.
- Support budget report preparation and contribute to achieving and improving KPIs such as cash flow and inventory.
Others:
- Conduct inventory checks twice a year with the Sales Administration Team.
- Participate in internal projects such as Electronic Manufacturing System (EMS)
Other Requirements:
- 5-7 years of experience in electronics/semiconductors or trading-related industries, with strong supply chain management expertise.
- Proven sales record, initiative in acquiring new customers, recommending solutions, and executing sales.
- Familiarity with electronic devices/machinery is preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute successful strategies.
- In-depth knowledge of market and business trends is to inform business strategies and market penetration.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Fluency in English and proficiency in Japanese for communication with Japanese counterparts.
- Willingness and ability to travel for business trips.
