A leading company in the marine sector is seeking an EHS Manager to maintain their EHS Management System. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring workplace safety, conducting audits, and collaborating with various stakeholders. Requirements include a relevant degree, certification, and significant experience in EHS management.
Purpose of Role:
Maintains the organization's EHS Management System by inspecting the implementation of EHS Management System, perform frequent audits on the operational control, evaluate against the compliance to legal regulations, EHS MS and other standards. Possesses analytical skills and values collaboration in order to solve problems.
Responsibilities:
Stay up-to-date on changes to safety regulations and industry best practices
Collaborate with management, clients and other departments to ensure a safe and healthy work environment
Prepare reports and presentations on safety performance and provide recommendations for improvement
Plan and execute the safety management system audits
Supports project & department to comply with EHS regulations & policies
Working with clients to develop or make improvements to the safety management system
Working with operations/EHS team to develop policies and procedures specific to their needs
Organises and conducts EHS inspection on project assigned
Drives project EHSMS for compliances
Participates in EHS related incident investigation
Manages EHS management policies & procedures
Undertakes any other tasks as directed by SVP/Head, Naval Services and VP/Head, EHS
Requirements:
Degree/DiplomainEHS or any Engineeringwith 6years of relevant experience
Comfortable liaising and managingclients on their safety requirements and expectations
Possess Hotwork Assessor Certification
Confined Space Assessor Registration is an added advantage
Good understanding of Workplace Safety & Health Act & Ship building & Ship repairing regulation
Good understanding of MOM safety management system
Good report writing & incident investigation & analytical skills
Possess strong leadership & interpersonal skills to build partnerships with various stakeholders in the organisation

Location: Changi (Island-wide transport provided)
5 days work week
Working Hours: 7.25am-5pm
