Main Responsibilities
- Report to the Restaurant Manager and support in achieving optimal business performance, maintaining high standards of food, service, health, and safety.
- Assist in managing restaurant operations, including sales analysis, planning, and reporting at the end of shifts or weeks.
- Contribute to departmental sales, profit, and staff development plans.
- Monitor labour, F&B costing, inventory control, and conduct bi-monthly stock takes.
- Assist in menu planning and coordination.
- Manage filing systems and read company emails.
- Handle disciplinary issues, conduct annual reviews, and staff confirmations.
- Provide leadership to the food and beverage team to meet targets.
- Review and suggest improvements to operations and procedures.
- Coordinate restaurant operations during scheduled shifts.
- Respond to customer complaints and ensure positive service experiences.
- Ensure employees adhere to uniform standards.
- Greet customers, organize reservations, and advise on menu and beverages.
- Conduct orientation, training, and coaching for new staff.
- Plan staff duty rosters and cleaning schedules.
- Update GRN, perform e-Procurement, and handle cashiering duties including daily sales, petty cash, and banking.
- Collect customer feedback via IPad, upsell desserts, promotions, and PGR memberships.
- Maintain high standards of quality, hygiene, and safety, ensuring SOP compliance.
- Perform any other duties as assigned.
