Job summary

Cathay United Bank is seeking a detail-oriented operations professional in Singapore to process KYC and account requests, and support daily banking services. The role includes handling documentation for remittances, FX and loans, while ensuring regulatory compliance and client service standards.

You will coordinate with Relationship Managers and cross-functional teams to track case timelines, maintain accurate records and respond to routine client inquiries on non-credit matters.

Qualifications

• Experience in banking operations and KYC/AML procedures.
• Familiarity with corporate banking operations, remittance, deposits and FX products.
• Good organizational, follow-up and communication skills with a service mindset.

Responsibilities

• Process KYC account opening, closing and amendment requests and related document handling.
• Support daily transaction services including remittances, FX and related product documentation.
• Assist loan administration by quoting rates, coordinating drawdown and repayment documents.
• Handle image-based transaction instructions, remittance tracking and routine client inquiries on non-credit matters.
• Coordinate with Relationship Managers and cross-functional teams, track timelines and maintain clear records.

Job description

• Process KYC account opening, closing and amendment requests, including document preparation, completeness checks, application submission, collection of client documents and progress tracking. Responsible for periodic and ad-hoc KYC reviews.
• Support daily transaction services covering inward/outward/return/amendment remittances, current and time deposit transaction enquiries, FX transaction documentation, interest rate swap/option and derivative product documents, and authorized trader or client information amendments.
• Support loan administration including quotation of rates, handling exceptions and coordinate submission of drawdown and repayment-related documents, explain required repayment and interest payment arrangements to clients, and track pending items for non-credit reviews and other assigned cases.
• Handle image-based transaction instruction applications, inbound/outbound remittance tracking, seal or deposit-account-type modification applications, periodic account review support and routine client enquiries on non-credit matters.
• Coordinate with Relationship Managers and cross-functional teams, follow up case timelines and outstanding documents, maintain clear records, and provide documents requested by relevant internal units.

Job Requirements

• Up to 2 years of relevant experience in banking operations, transaction services, client servicing or a related field.
• Knowledge of corporate banking operations, account services, remittance, deposits and foreign exchange products.
• Familiarity with banking regulations, KYC/AML requirements and standard operating procedures.
• Good organization, follow-up and communication skills, with a service-oriented mindset.
