Job summary

Recruit Now Singapore Pte Ltd is seeking an Assistant Quantity Surveyor for a Singapore-based interior design and renovation company. You will support project costing, take-offs, tender preparation, subcontractor sourcing, quotation analysis and pricing negotiations.

Responsibilities include preparing take-offs, managing quotations, submitting tenders, and coordinating with designers, sales teams and contractors. Diploma/degree in QS is required with 1 year of QS experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying or related discipline.
• Minimum 1 year of relevant QS experience preferred.
• Experience in space planning, interior design or renovation projects is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Prepare quantity take-offs and measurements for pricing while ensuring budget accuracy.
• Source and manage quotations from subcontractors and suppliers, including cost analysis and follow-ups.
• Prepare and submit tenders and quotations, and negotiate pricing with subcontractors and suppliers.
• Review client and designer requirements and assess project scope and costing implications.
• Source and develop relationships with new subcontractors and suppliers.
• Prepare renovation submission documents and related QS documentation.
• Coordinate renovation phases and scheduling among designers, sales teams and contractors.

Our Client, a Singapore-based company specialising in commercial interior design, space planning, renovation, and design-and-build services, is inviting qualified candidates to fill the position as Assistant Quantity Surveyor.

You will be responsible for supporting project costing and quantity surveying activities, from quantity take-offs and tender preparation to subcontractor sourcing, quotation analysis and pricing negotiations.

• Salary: Up to $3,500 Basic (salary will commensurate according to experience & qualifications)
