Job Description:

This is a contract role for an Assistant QA QC Engineer located in Seng Kang Depot. Our client is a Japanese multinational engineering, electrical equipment and electronics corporation headquartered in Tokyo, Japan.

  • Support QA/QC Engineer in all work activities

  • Assist in inspections and testing of electrical, mechanical, and trackwork equipment

  • Review electrical drawings and documents for accuracy and compliance

  • Join pre-inspection meetings with sub-contractors and stakeholders

  • Monitor electrical installation and testing work

  • Perform visual checks on wiring, grounding, labeling, etc.

  • Use tools like multimeters to carry out basic electrical tests

  • Report and document non-conformities and suggest corrections

  • Keep accurate inspection and test records

  • Help prepare quality control plans and procedures

  • Join audits and contribute to process improvements

  • Communicate clearly with site supervisors, project managers, contractors, SBST, and LTA

Qualifications:

  • Diploma in Electrical and Electronics

  • Minimum 3-4 years of relevant experience at complex project site.

  • LRT/MRT E&M project experience is added advantage.
