Une association cherche un gestionnaire d'événements pour planifier et superviser des activités sportives et récréatives. Le candidat idéal a de l'expérience en gestion d'événements, un esprit de service, et sera autonome tout en travaillant en équipe. Ce rôle implique également la connaissance de l'équipement sportif et des tâches administratives.

Qualifications

  • GCE ‘A’ ou niveaux de diplôme, avec un bon dossier CCA ou implication active dans le sport.
  • Expérience en gestion d'événements de 2-3 ans souhaitée.
  • Capacité de travailler les week-ends et jours fériés.

Responsibilities

  • Planifier et organiser des activités et événements pour le club.
  • Assurer l'atteinte des objectifs de revenus et de participation.
  • Gérer les demandes d'informations sur les cours et activités.

Job description

Main / Key Responsibility(ies)

  • Responsible for planning, organizing and recreational activities for the club.

  • Assist in formulating workplan/budget and implementing approved annual workplan tasks.

  • Ensure revenue and participation targets of projects and events organized are achieved.

  • Assist in promotional efforts for activities and events so as to increase participation and utilization rate.

  • Formulate and implement business development and sponsorship strategies to attain financial viability for projects and events.

  • Generate new concepts for events, courses and workshops, ensuring the competitiveness of activities organized and relevance to club flagship by keeping abreast of members’ needs and market trends.

  • Ensure enquiries on all courses and activities are promptly handled and responded to within stipulated timelines.

  • Attend committee meetings of Interest Groups and Sports Teams and ensure that minutes of meetings are properly recorded.

  • Assist and facilitate all activities of the assigned Interest Groups and Sports Teams.

  • Ensure proper inventory control of equipment and maintenance of facilities assigned.

  • Oversee major events for the club and to be involved in matrix committees formed for time to time.

  • Assist in any other activities, projects and tasks as and when assigned by Club Manager (TP)

Requirements:

  • GCE ‘A’ / diploma levels with good CCA records and/or active involvement in sports

  • Preferably with 2-3 years' experience in sports and events management

  • Preferably possess experience to develop and grow sports programmes

  • Possess excellent service mindset

  • Team player and ability to multi-task well under pressure

  • Independent and self-motivated with good interpersonal and social skill

  • Able to work on weekends and public holidays

  • Proficient in MS Office and familiar with basic website knowledge
