Assistant Project Manager (T&C)

Job summary

Engie Singapore is seeking an experienced T&C project coordinator to assist the project manager in achieving project goals and coordinating resources for data centre commissioning activities.

You will plan schedules, monitor quality, manage risks, liaise with subcontractors and vendors, and present updates to stakeholders. A strong background in engineering/construction and ability to read blueprints is essential.

Qualifications

• Min 8 years in Engineering/Construction industry (Min 3 years experience in T&C preferred).
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Ability to prepare and present project reports and updates.
• Understanding of local building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards relevant to data centre testing and commissioning.

Responsibilities

• Assist project manager to achieve project goals.
• Assist to manage project resource allocation and scheduling T&C activities to work within project timelines.
• Provide direction and support to project team and stakeholders.
• Control and monitor on quality assurance.
• Constantly monitor and report on T&C progress of the project.
• Present reports defining T&C project progress, problems and solutions.
• Implement and manage project changes and interventions to achieve project outputs.
• Communicating with all stakeholders and client/GC appointed commissioning agent.
• Managing risks and issues on project execution.
• Managing sub-contractors and vendors on project execution.
• Assist project manager in generating weekly report for presenting project status to stakeholder.
• Oversee variable aspects of projects and provide direct assistance to ensure timely project execution.
• Assist with procuring materials and other items necessary for completing project goals.
• Conduct a regular T&C meeting to all sub-contractors and vendors to meet project timeline and goals.
• Liaison with project stakeholders in related to project execution where necessary.
• Any other duties or tasks assign by Project Manager.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Min 8 years experience in Engineering / Construction Industry (Min 3 years experience in T&C preferred)
• Familiarity with T&C methodologies and CX Playbook.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Ability to prepare and present project reports and updates.
• Understanding of local building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards relevant to data centre testing and commissioning.
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Ability to work under pressure with minimal supervision
