The successful candidate will manage site activities, ensure compliance with regulations, and maintain project documentation. Responsibilities

• Oversee installation of fire protection systems.

• Supervise final testing and commissioning of systems.
• Maintain updated records and prepare project reports.
• Monitor project budget and control expenditures.
• Coordinate final handover with clients and consultants.

Job description

1. Project Planning & Coordination

• Review project specifications, drawings, and contract requirements.

• Develop project timelines, schedules, and milestones.

• Coordinate with consultants, clients, main contractors, and relevant authorities.

2. Site Supervision & Execution

• Oversee installation (e.g., sprinklers, fire alarms, FM200, etc.).

• Ensure works are carried out according to plan, code of practice, and safety standards.

• Manage site activities, manpower allocation, and daily work progress.

3. Procurement & Resource Management

• Coordinate procurement of materials, tools, and equipment.

• Manage subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery and performance.

• Ensure materials used are compliant with specifications and requirements.

4. Regulatory Compliance & Submissions

• Oversee submission for necessary documents submit to relevant authorities (e.g., SCDF/FSSD).

• Coordinate for inspections, testing, and commissioning.

• Ensure all installations comply with local fire codes and regulations.

5. Testing & Commissioning

• Supervise final testing and commissioning of fire protection systems.

• Rectify defects or non-compliance issues.

• Coordinate with clients/consultants for system handover and approvals.

6. Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain updated records, reports, drawings, and test certificates.

• Prepare project progress reports and attend site coordination meetings.

• Support in the preparation of O&M manuals and as-built drawings.

7. Cost & Budget Control

• Monitor project budget and control expenditures.

• Manage variations/VOs and support with claim submissions.

8. Handover & Project Closure

• Coordinate final handover with clients and consultants.

• Ensure all documentation is complete and defects rectified.

• Support final account and close-out process.
