Qualifications

Diploma or degree in civil engineering, building, construction management or related field.
3-5 years of relevant experience in construction, preferably with a main contractor.
Knowledge of Singapore construction practices, standards, and regulatory requirements.
Good understanding of construction processes, site coordination, drawings, and documentation.
Strong coordination skills with subcontractors, consultants, suppliers, and site teams.
Proactive, responsible, and take ownership of tasks.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with construction or project management software.

Responsibilities

Support the Project Director in overseeing daily project activities and site operations.
Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, site personnel, and internal departments for smooth execution.
Monitor progress, schedules, manpower allocation, material availability, and site activities.
Ensure works follow drawings, specs, quality standards, and contractual requirements.
Assist in preparing and updating project schedules, work programmes, and progress reports.
Participate in site, coordination, and project meetings; follow up on outstanding items.
Coordinate submissions, drawings, material approvals, inspections, and related docs.
Monitor subcontractors' performance to meet schedule and standards.
Identify site issues, delays, and coordination challenges; assist in timely solutions.
Liaise with Quantity Surveying on variations, procurement, and cost issues.
Work with Safety team to ensure health and safety compliance.
Assist in inspections, testing, commissioning, handover, and close-out.
Maintain accurate project records, reports, and correspondence.
Support timely delivery within budget and quality/safety standards.
Undertake other project-related duties as assigned.
