Job description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Take overall responsibility for delivering assigned projects within the agreed budget, timeline, scope, and quality standards.

  • Manage a range of projects including:

    • Amalgamation and subdivision of commercial spaces.

    • Change-of-use conversions and related provisions.

    • Asset enhancement works and other special projects.

  • Maintain active engagement and collaboration with stakeholders including property owners, building management, consultants, site supervisory staff, and occupants to ensure smooth project execution.

  • Prepare budget estimates, specifications, and Bills of Quantities for tenders and quotations.

  • Lead the appointment of consultants and contractors, ensuring adherence to internal procurement and approval processes.

  • Track, report, and analyze project progress, including schedule, cost, and key milestones.

  • Manage project elements including design changes, authority submissions and approvals, variation orders, progress payments, final accounts, documentation, and defect rectification.

  • Attend project meetings and prepare meeting minutes and related documentation.

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of project management experience in commercial building upgrading or asset enhancement projects.

  • A recognized degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Building Management, Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, or related disciplines.

  • Proven experience managing projects within operational (“live”) building environments is advantageous.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to manage conflicts and influence stakeholders.

  • Familiarity with local authority submission processes and regulatory requirements.
