Job Summary:

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Assistant Project Manager to support our interior design and architectural teams in the planning, coordination, and execution of residential, commercial, and institutional projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in design or construction, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in project planning, scheduling, and budgeting tasks.
  • Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal design teams to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Prepare and maintain project documentation including meeting minutes, progress reports, RFIs, submittals, and issue logs.
  • Monitor project timelines and flag delays or risks to the project manager.
  • Conduct site visits to track progress and assist with quality control and compliance.
  • Support procurement activities including sourcing materials, samples, and liaising with suppliers.
  • Help ensure design intent is maintained throughout project development and implementation.
  • Attend project meetings and assist with follow-ups and action items.
  • Provide administrative support to the project team as needed.
Requirements:
  • Diploma or Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, Project Management, or related field.
  • 1–3 years of relevant experience in an architectural or interior design firm preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with AutoCAD, Revit, or SketchUp is a plus.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Familiarity with project lifecycle and construction processes is an advantage.
