A leading company in the construction industry is seeking a Project Coordinator to ensure project management effectiveness and foster communication between all parties. The successful candidate will oversee project documentation, coordinate with subcontractors, and assist in tender submissions while reporting directly to the Director. This role demands strong organizational and technical skills, with a focus on meeting tight deadlines and delivering exceptional results.
Project:
•Ensure proper coordination of all variables in the assigned projects.
•Ensure sound administration and communication flow between the project team and the other related parties (internal and external);
•Co-ordinate with sub-contractors/suppliers on timely delivery of materials and handover the project.
•Project preliminaries documentation like insurance, safety documents and others.
•Consolidate and collect project data and prepare progress report, inspection report and progress update.
•Submit monthly progress claim for all projects including liaising with client and consultant.
•Attend site meeting with Project manager if needed and follow up project documentation.
•Prepare subcontractor agreement, verify the claim, consolidate project costs.
You shall report directly to the Director, or any other designated senior officer of the company as may from time to time be notified to you.
Sales:
•Attend site show round, tender briefing, and collect the data and site measurement.
•Attend tender interview, proposal meeting and follow up on tender documents submission and sort out quotation from different vendor.
•Other adhoc services work assigned by company.
Documentation and Administrative work
•Prepare and update project files and tender files
•Record all equipment rental list for project use and costing.
•ISO and safety audit documentation.
Tender
•Regular check on gov web for incoming tender
•Prepare tender documents submission and sort out quotation from different vendor.
•Attending site show round when needed.
Educational Qualifications
•Degree or Diploma or certificates in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management,
or a related field
•Minimum 2–5 years of experience in project coordination or management within the
construction industry.
Technical Skills
•Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Familiarity with project management software such as Microsoft Project
• Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
