Job summary

A recruitment firm is seeking an Assistant Project Buyer in Singapore. This role involves supporting project administration, working independently with teams, and ensuring accurate procurement processes. This position offers a salary of up to $2,200 per month with a 0.5-month completion bonus.

  • Support the RFQ activities.

  • Send engineering design packages to suppliers.
  • Handle adhoc requirements as needed.

Skills

Job description

Industry: Life Science Manufacturing (US MNC)

Working hours: Monday - Friday, 9.00am 6.00pm

Salary Range: Up to $2,200 per month + 0.5 months completion bonus

Contract Duration: 6 Months

Background: The Assistant Project Buyer will be a supporting the administrative and expediting aspect for projects. As a core member of the team, he/ she will need to work independently and closely with the Project members and support them effectively.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the RFQ activities.
  • Process R&D purchase requisitions.
  • Work with finance and logistic team to resolve invoice and receipt discrepancies.
  • Work closely with FA team on FA request.
  • Involve in material transfer to manufacturing.
  • Maintain material accuracy for project materials.
  • Support in sending engineering design packages to suppliers.
  • Any other Adhoc requirements.

Core skills and experience required:

  • Knowledge of Oracle purchasing function.
  • Very organized and able to independently pursue concurrent resolution of multiple issues.
  • Must have very strong skills in conflict resolution, problem solving/decision making, influencing, managing, and meeting deadlines.
  • Working experience with Oracle and Microsoft Office Excel (pivots, vlookups), MSwords.

Education Required

  • Diploma in a related field (engineering or business).
  • Graduate or actively enrolled in an accredited supply chain management program.
