Role: Assistant Product Manager (SAP Project Systems)

The Assistant Product Manager supports and assists the Product Managers with key product issues, business operational requests, and validation of new SAP system enhancements. They research SAP and their designated area, providing expertise and guidance to SAP teams. Responsibilities include managing initiatives, projects, and collaborating with third-party consultants within their functional area.

The scope includes supporting the functional area and Product Managers to ensure SAP solution success across a global client base. They may direct team members, coordinate with other teams, and work with clients to gather requirements for product and service improvements.

Responsibilities:
  • Resolve product-related issues and manage incidents and service requests through full lifecycle.
  • Oversee technical incident, service request, and problem tickets management.
  • Manage major incident communication and SLA compliance.
  • Assist Level II resources and assess incident impacts on product processes.
  • Develop and deliver presentations to clients on product functionality.
  • Manage product updates, enhancements, and lifecycle with emphasis on demand, validation, and signoff.
  • Support requirements review, testing, and user acceptance activities.
  • Analyze application lifecycle to identify design flaws and improve processes.
  • Coach and mentor team members, including onboarding new employees.
Minimum Requirements:
  • At least five years of experience in SAP Project Systems implementation and/or support.
  • Knowledge of SAP PS integration with modules like SAP FICO, SAP SD, SAP MM.
  • Good configuration knowledge of PS structures, WBS, user status profiles, and master data.
  • Proficiency in cost and revenue planning, budgeting, and results analysis.
  • Experience managing tickets in ServiceNow related to SAP PS.
