Job description

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement effective procurement strategies to support the business and meet production targets
• Manage and optimise the end-to-end procurement lifecycle, including sourcing, vendor selection, contract negotiation, order fulfilment and inventory management
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers to ensure reliable supply, competitive pricing and quality standards
• Analyse procurement data and market trends to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements
• Collaborate cross-functionally with production, finance and other teams to align procurement activities with business objectives
• Develop and mentor the procurement team, promoting best practices and continuous professional development
• Ensure procurement activities comply with relevant regulations, policies and procedures

Requirements

• Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering or a related field
• Minimum 5 years' experience in a procurement or supply chain management role, preferably with managerial/ supervisory experience and in the semiconductor or precision manufacturing industry
• Strong understanding of procurement best practices, including sourcing strategies, contract management, inventory control and supplier relationship management
• Proven track record in delivering cost savings and process improvements through strategic procurement initiatives
