A leading company in aerospace manufacturing is seeking a Technical Lead to oversee and implement specialized technical processes, ensuring quality and compliance. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in manufacturing and relevant qualifications in engineering fields, along with proven expertise in problem-solving methodologies. Working hours: Monday - Friday,8.30am to 5.30pm
Lead implementation and control of Electro-Mechanical, PCBA, LCD, MMS, and other specialized technical processes
Drive New Product Introduction (NPI) activities, including ownership of Process Readiness Reviews (PRR)
Lead technical investigations and non-conformance resolution using structured methodologies (e.g., 8D problem solving)
Collaborate with sourcing and quality teams to perform supplier qualifications, technical audits, and selection
Lead or support new process and capability development including qualification and documentation
Ensure process implementation aligns with internal manufacturing and quality requirements (e.g., AS9100)
Serve as subject matter expert in your technical domain and support cross-functional projects and industrialization efforts
Expertise in IPC-A-610 (Class 3) and PCBA process control
Experience in HMS manufacturing, especially LCD modules, and related IPC standards
Strong knowledge in MMS processes (e.g., Laser Cutting & Welding, Metal Fabrication, Welded Assemblies, Deep Drawing, Paints, Ionization, Surface Treatment)
In-depth knowledge of IPC-A-600 (Class 3) and PCB manufacturing process control
Experience with test methods at board level and product level
Troubleshooting and repair of electronic assemblies, screening, and test methodology
Strong understanding of quality management systems (AS9100), supplier quality standards, and technical documentation
Ability to interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and bench/tooling diagrams
Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, or Industrial Engineering
Minimum 5 to 10 years of experience in a manufacturing environment (low volume, high mix preferred)
Strong technical foundation in LEAN, Six Sigma, 8D, and related problem-solving tools
Proven track record in aviation or aerospace manufacturing is highly preferred
Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
