Job summary

Evonik group is seeking an Assistant Plant Manager in Singapore to support the Plant Manager in overseeing production operations. This role involves enhancing overall equipment effectiveness and managing process safety.

With a strong background in chemical engineering and a minimum of 5 years in plant management, the ideal candidate will thrive in a dynamic environment focusing on safety and quality. A Site Main Controller certification is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years experience in plant management or operations in relevant industries.
• Site Main Controller (SMC) certification as per SG regulation.
• Ability to work independently while providing guidance to others.

Responsibilities

• Support the Plant Manager in overseeing overall plant production operations.
• Develop execution strategies to ensure safe and compliant operations.
• Monitor and enhance Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).
• Manage and execute CAPEX and improvement projects.
