A leading Academy is seeking an Assistant Partnership Manager to enhance partnerships with government agencies and educational institutions. The role involves developing strategies, engaging stakeholders, and coordinating campaigns to boost the Academy’s outreach and impact. Ideal candidates will have a strong background in marketing or public relations, with excellent communication skills and experience in partnership management.
Role Overview:
As an Assistant Partnership Manager (Academy), you will play a key role in supporting and growing our network of partnerships with government agencies, public institutions, and learning bodies. Your mission is to drive collaboration opportunities, increase outreach, and support strategic initiatives that broaden the Academy’s impact and audience base.
A background in marketing, public relations, or stakeholder engagement is highly valued, as you'll represent the Academy in both formal and informal settings, nurturing meaningful relationships that align with our growth objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
· Support the development and execution of partnership strategies with government bodies, statutory boards, and educational institutions
· Engage with key stakeholders to explore collaborative opportunities such as co-branded programs, sponsorships, and training initiatives
· Coordinate partnership-related campaigns and outreach events to raise awareness of Academy offerings
· Draft proposals, reports, and communications tailored to partner expectations
· Monitor partnership performance and ensure proper follow-through on agreed deliverables
· Work closely with internal teams including marketing, curriculum, and operations to ensure alignment on partnership goals
· Keep abreast of trends in adult learning, government funding schemes, and relevant industry movements
Requirements:
· Diploma or Degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Business, Communications, or related fields
· 3+ years of experience in partnership management, business development, or stakeholder engagement (preferably in education, training, or public sector)
· Excellent communication and presentation skills
· Strong coordination and project management abilities
· Professional and confident when interacting with senior-level partners and public bodies
· Interest in the learning and development space, especially within government or community sectors
Bonus Skills (Nice to Have):
· Prior experience working with SkillsFuture, WSQ frameworks, or similar government education initiatives
· Familiarity with adult training or corporate learning environments
· Existing network within government or educational circles
