Role Description

We are looking for an Assistant Operations Manager to assist in managing operations in Cogent Automotive Logistics Pte Ltd.

Responsibilities

1. Report to the Senior Manager and assist him in managing the automotive logistics business in the company.

2. Meet KPI with direct relationship to P&L.

3. Analyze customer data and operation performance to derive actionable insights to drive operational decisions.

4. Maintain good customer relationship with new and existing customer to work towards meeting customer’s requirement.

5. Review pricing policies to ensure competitiveness and recommend changes when necessary to ensure better revenue for the company.

6. Assist in planning, monitoring / managing budget, agencies and vendors to ensure cost-effectiveness.

7. Assist to negotiate better rates with suppliers, identify cost savings opportunities.

8. Assist Senior Manager to work on request for quotations / tenders.

9. Assist in manage to improve the productivity and efficiency of the department.

10. Any other duties and responsibilities assigned.

Requirements

1. Degree / Diploma Holders with minimum 5 years of relevant experience in automotive logistics.

2. Ability to lead a team to achieve business goals.

3. Strong communication skills with customers and staff at all levels.

4. Committed and target oriented.

Others

1. Working hours: Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5.30pm; Saturday 8.30am – 12.30pm (Alternate Saturday)
