Role Description

We are looking for an Assistant Operations Manager to assist in managing operations in Cogent Automotive Logistics Pte Ltd.

Responsibilities:

  • Report to the Senior Manager and assist him in managing the automotive logistics business in the company.
  • Meet KPI with direct relationship to P&L.
  • Analyze customer data and operation performance to derive actionable insights to drive operational decisions.
  • Maintain good customer relationship with new and existing customer to work towards meeting customer’s requirement.
  • Review pricing policies to ensure competitiveness and recommend changes when necessary to ensure better revenue for the company.
  • Assist in planning, monitoring / managing budget, agencies and vendors to ensure cost-effectiveness.
  • Assist to negotiate better rates with suppliers, identify cost savings opportunities.
  • Assist Senior Manager to work on request for quotations / tenders.
  • Assist in manage to improve the productivity and efficiency of the department.
  • Any other duties and responsibilities assigned.

Requirements

  • Degree / Diploma Holders with minimum 5 years of relevant experience in automotive logistics.
  • Ability to lead a team to achieve business goals.
  • Strong communication skills with customers and staff at all levels.
  • Committed and target oriented.

Others

  1. Working hours: Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5.30pm; Alternate Saturday 8.30am – 12.30pm
