Job description

Oversee daily scheduling of pet activities, feeding, cleaning, and grooming sessions.

Monitor cleanliness and maintenance of the facility to ensure a hygienic, pet-safe environment.

Assist in training, supervising, and scheduling pet care assistants and reception staff.

Help conduct regular staff briefings and performance checks.

Step in to cover operational duties during staff shortages.

Greet pet owners and ensure smooth check-in/out procedures.

Handle customer feedback, inquiries, and resolve service issues professionally.

Maintain accurate pet records and communicate special needs to the team.

Monitor pets’ behaviour and report health or temperament concerns.

Enforce safety protocols and emergency procedures.

Ensure compliance with AVS (Animal & Veterinary Service) and NEA regulations.

Assist with inventory control and stock ordering.

Prepare basic reports on attendance, incidents, and feedback.

Be available for 24-hour standby duty on a rotational basis to handle emergencies, urgent pet care situations, or last-minute operational issues.

Respond promptly and coordinate emergency support when required.

May be required to attend the center physically outside of normal hours in urgent situations.

Support social media or marketing tasks, if required.

Must be calm, patient, and adaptable under pressure.

Be hands-on, organized, and detail-oriented.

Be a team player with leadership potential.

Perform any other ad-hoc duties assigned by the Manager.
