Job Summary:
As the Assistant Operations Manager, you will oversee day-to-day operations of Q&M Medical Group’s clinics, ensuring a high standard of service delivery, operational efficiency, and regulatory compliance. You will work closely with clinic supervisors, medical professionals, and internal departments to ensure smooth, efficient, and high-quality service delivery. This is a crucial role that requires strong leadership, operational efficiency, and excellent people management skills.
Key Responsibilities:
· Manage the day-to-day operations of assigned medical clinics, ensuring alignment with company standards and MOH regulations.
· Supervise and lead clinic managers, front-line medical staff, and administrative teams to ensure effective service delivery.
· Monitor clinic performance metrics including patient throughput, wait times, patient satisfaction, and staff productivity.
· Optimize clinic manpower planning, staff rostering, and resource allocation to ensure efficient clinic operations.
· Coordinate closely with medical doctors and clinic teams to maintain high clinical standards and seamless patient journeys.
· Support business continuity, risk management, and adherence to infection control and safety protocols.
· Resolve escalated patient service issues and ensure professional handling of feedback and complaints.
· Assist in clinic setup, renovations, system implementation, or expansion projects.
· Liaise with HQ departments such as HR, Finance, Marketing, and IT to ensure integrated clinic support.
· Drive service improvement initiatives, process enhancements, and operational excellence.
Requirements:
· Diploma or Degree in Healthcare Management, Business Administration, or related disciplines.
· Minimum 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in healthcare operations, preferably in GP or medical clinic settings.
· Experience managing multi-site operations or chain clinics is highly desirable.
· Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
· Familiarity with MOH regulations, medical licensing, and clinic audits.
· Tech-savvy and comfortable working with clinic management systems and digital platforms.
· Able to travel between clinic locations and work flexible hours, including weekends/public holidays if necessary.
