Job description

location: woodlands

working hours: Monday to Friday work week

• 4 days on day shift (i.e., 7am to 4.15pm)

• 1 day per week on PM Shift (i.e., 12.30pm to 9.30pm)

• 1 day per month on AM shift on Saturday, with following Monday granted as Day Off

salary: up to $6.8k

Responsibilities include:

1. Implementing patient care collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams (MDT) based on assessed needs and health conditions.
2. Facilitating admissions, transfers, and discharges; ensuring timely discharge planning.
3. Monitoring patient progress and evaluating readiness for discharge.
4. Collaborating with MDT to deliver evidence-based care for optimal outcomes.
5. Monitoring for signs of clinical deterioration and escalating as necessary.
6. Participating in MDT rounds and executing physicians’ orders promptly.
7. Preparing and assisting with bedside procedures and treatments.
8. Communicating patient progress and response to treatments.
9. Applying clinical skills, knowledge, and critical thinking in patient care.
10. Assisting with problem-solving and escalating issues to senior management as needed.
11. Providing patient and family education on disease management and prevention.
12. Assisting in resource management to maintain budget compliance.
13. Reviewing infection control practices and identifying improvements.
14. Planning and conducting in-service training for nursing staff.
15. Supporting nursing initiatives and leading change management efforts.
16. Reviewing and providing feedback on clinical performance of new nurses.
17. Supervising the use of medical equipment and electronic systems; leading in emergencies.

Job requirements:

1. Minimum advanced diploma/degree in nursing.
2. Valid SNB registration and BCLS certification.
3. Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience.
