Job Summary

The Assistant Manager will work closely with the Regional Manager to strengthen the brand's visibility and market presence. This role is responsible for planning and executing initiatives that drive business and adoption and customer engagement for Sands China Ltd. and Marina Bay Sands, by leveraging partnerships, media channels, and technology to maximize ROI. Key areas of focus include leading digital marketing to raise awareness of the properties, driving celebrity engagement and content initiatives, executing events, and developing strategic partnerships with banks, luxury shopping malls, airlines, and credit card companies. The Assistant Manager will apply a deep understanding of market dynamics, cultural nuances, and consumer behaviors to tailor localized activations that resonate with the market audiences. In addition, the Assistant Manager will work closely with team members from Macao to ensure all campaigns and initiatives are executed effectively, aligned with regional strategies, and deliver measurable results.

Job Responsibilities
Strategic Marketing & Partnerships
  • Work with the Regional Director and Regional Manager to raise awareness of the properties in digital areas and design and implement marketing strategies tailored to the market, ensuring cultural relevance and alignment with regional brand goals.
  • Support Regional Director and Regional Manager to identify, negotiate, and manage strategic partnerships with banks, luxury shopping malls, airlines, and credit card companies to enhance brand visibility, drive customer acquisition, and expand loyalty opportunities.
  • Develop and oversee joint marketing campaigns with partners, ensuring brand alignment, innovative execution, and measurable ROI.
  • Monitor competitive activity and market trends to provide insights that inform strategy and maintain a leading position in the market.
Events & Celebrity Engagement
  • Work with the Regional Manager to lead the planning and execution of high-profile celebrity engagements and events, including celebrity appearances, branded movie creation, and premium brand activations that elevate the customer experience.
  • Manage celebrity and KOL engagement initiatives, including relationship-building, negotiation, and content collaboration to maximize exposure and strengthen brand equity.
  • Oversee the creation of exclusive, local relevant content that amplifies event and celebrity partnerships across digital and offline channels.
  • Ensure events and celebrity engagements deliver strong visibility, positive media coverage, and enhanced consumer loyalty.
Team Support & Cross-functional Collaboration
  • Work alongside the Regional Manager to ensure market priorities align with overall regional strategies.
  • Provide guidance and support to the Senior Marketing Executive, Marketing and other local staff to deliver effective activations.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams (PR, Communications, Partnerships, Digital) to deliver integrated, multi‑channel campaigns that reflect both regional priorities and local customer needs.
  • Establish KPIs, monitor campaign performance and provide analytical reporting and insights to the Regional Manager to drive continuous improvement.
  • Act as a cultural and market expert, advising regional leadership on region‑specific consumer behavior, trends, and opportunities.
  • Other duties as directed by management.
  • Frequent travels to Macao, and potential relocation to Macao.
Job Requirements
Education & Certification
  • University Degree in Marketing, Business or Hospitality or related field is preferred.
Experience
  • 6-7 years of marketing experience required.
  • Experience in hospitality, gaming or related industry.
  • Strong understanding of either the Japan or South Korea market, with lived experience and deep familiarity with local cultural nuances and social media trends is highly preferred.
Other Prerequisites
  • Proficiency in both English and either Japanese or Korean, with strong reading, writing, and speaking skills required for translating and creating market‑specific content. Fluency in additional Asian languages or dialects (e.g., Chinese, Cantonese) is a plus.
  • Good interpersonal and project management skills.
  • Demonstrated sense of responsibility and accountability in tasks and projects.
  • Excellent multitasking abilities and organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Strong work ethic and dedication to producing high‑quality work.
  • Proactive and self‑motivated with problem‑solving skills.
  • Creative, flexible, and a can‑do attitude is highly desired.
  • Must be proficient in PowerPoint, Word, and Excel. Experience in SAS is preferred.
