Job description

We are looking for an Assistant Marketing Manager that is passionate with a strong background marketing. This ideal candidate will be reporting to the Assistant General Manager and is critical in driving the marketing efforts of the business unit. Having a proven track record of developing and executing marketing strategies is definitely a plus to this role.

Pacific Time is a leading distributor of exquisite luxury timepieces and timepiece accessories since its inception in 2003. A wholly owned subsidiary of Cortina Holdings Group, Pacific Time’s current stable of timepiece brands include H. Moser & Cie, Hautlence, Moritz Grossmann, Singer Reimagined and BOVET.

Pacific Time provides a full spectrum of distributor support for the Asia Pacific region and is focused on areas such as distribution network, training, strategic marketing, merchandise visibility, repairs and strong after sales service.

Marketing

  • To strategize and promote the brands' awareness through the implementation of effective marketing and communications programs, specifically events, media, visual merchandising, and retail support, in Singapore, Malaysia, and Thailand.

  • Responsible for managing the calendar of marketing and communication activities.

  • Budget and monitor expenses for all marketing and communication activation.

  • Ensure high quality of all brand executions according to the brands' guidelines and processes.

  • Track and generate marketing claims for submission to HQ.

  • Create online and offline marketing content

Events

  • Work closely with brands and retailers to prepare, plan, and execute key product launches for both customers and media.

  • Prepare all event communication materials for product release.

  • Collaboration with strategic partners to elevate brand awareness and sales.

  • Track, analyze and report the success of those campaigns and events.

  • Empower the sales team with marketing content and campaigns that help drive sales.

Communications

  • Creation and adaptation of creative assets for regional use.

  • Source and prepare for customer gifting.

  • Strengthen our relationship with media, clients and company partnerships.

Media

  • Manage media budgets to ensure efficiency and productivity in the region.

  • Plan, and oversee print and digital media activities to ensure the right targeted audience for each of the brands.

  • Ensure consistency of visual selection in line with guidelines from HQ.

  • Pitch for coverage on all brand and product launches.

  • Engage the media in press viewings and conferences to communicate new brand offerings.

  • Keep abreast of media landscape and update management.

  • Regular engagement with the media to build relationship.

  • Yearly gifting to select media to build goodwill.

  • Handle all media product shoots.

Retail

  • Budget, coordinate, and oversee execution of new store openings, visual merchandising and window animations.

  • Support retail staff on marketing materials and brand enquiries.

Job Requirements:

  • Degree in Marketing/Mass Communications or equivalent

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in similar industry

  • Able to multi-task and work independently in a dynamic environment

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

  • Creative thinker who is proactive, resourceful, collaborative and is driven to deliver results

  • Reports to Assistant General Manager and work closely with Group Marketing

  • Independent contributor who is responsible for 360 marketing campaigns

  • Able to work from 9.00 am to 6.30 pm; Monday to Friday

  • Having experience in luxury is preferred
