A leading manufacturer in Singapore is seeking a Production Manager to drive operational excellence in a high-volume manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will lead development and training of the team, enhance productivity through continuous improvement methodologies, and ensure compliance with safety procedures. With a strong focus on leadership and materials management, this role involves collaboration with suppliers and logistics to maintain timely delivery of quality goods to customers.

Qualifications

Job description

Job Responsibility

· Lead and model the organization value and drive a culture of engagement by providing effective leadership, direction, development and support for the team

· Monitor production metrics, analyze data, and identify areas for improvement to enhance productivity

· Develop and implement production schedules to meet customer demands and ensure smooth operations

· Drive continuous improvement process and programs for operational excellence

· Liaise and coordinate with contract manufacturers for various resources and support in daily operations, ensuring critical activities are identified and issues are resolved

· Collaborate with purchasing and supply chain teams to maintain a positive relationship with suppliers and logistics providers, ensure materials availability for production and on time delivery of finished goods to customers

· Develop and implement standard operating procedures for all production operations.

· Ensure compliance with Heath and Safety policies, ensuring site safety through hazard identification and prevention

· Responsible for staff development and training to ensure optimal competency

· Work closely with Affiliates Company in USA and other countries on all operational matters.

Job Requirement

· Minimum bachelor’s degree in engineering, manufacturing or related field is required

· Minimum 10 years hands-on experience in high volume manufacturing environment

· A good track record in leading manufacturing operations.

· Conversant in continuous improvement methodologies such as lean or six sigma

· Strong in production planning and materials management preferred

· Good Knowledge of ISO 9000 Quality Management System

· Self-disciplined and strong leadership as a role model with a strong sense of ownership

· Team Player, self driven and able to work under pressure with a sense of urgency to meet deadlines

· Good interpersonal and communication skills
