Introduction of the team

Great talents are needed for startups to grow. The People team designs and implements strategies targeted at addressing talent challenges tech startups face. We have a range of engagement activities which we drive, to build meaningful connections with these individuals, they can be intellectually stimulating, inspiring and most of all, fun to be at. Our work involves a lot of creativity, thoroughness and perseverance as we have a myriad of activities going on daily - from pipeline building strategies to leadership capability development programmes.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the assigned programmes (e.g., Summation or any new programmes in development), overseeing the entire process from design, implementation, and review to reporting and ongoing improvements, ensuring strong adoption and engagement.
  • Collaborate closely with both internal teams and external partners, including startup founders, career offices, industry experts, and government agencies.
  • Represent SGInnovate in executing key activities such as networking events, outreach initiatives, career fairs, and other events, both at our offices and external venues.
  • Engage in the candidate management process, including outreach activities, evaluating suitability, coordinating/ attending interviews, conducting assessments, and managing offers.
  • Maintain a quality-driven approach and contribute to other tasks as required to ensure the overall success of the team.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's and Postgraduate degrees – fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
  • Strong interest to support startups growth in emerging tech fields (e.g., Artificial Intelligence, Biotech, Robotics, Quantum Technologies, Cybersecurity).
  • Professional attitude with excellent communications, writing and presentation skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a talent for connecting and building relationships with stakeholders at various levels
  • Able to project manage timelines and deadlines
  • Highly organised with keen attention to detail, capable of prioritising multiple tasks and deadlines to execute plans effectively
  • Creative thinker with critical thinking skills, always exploring new opportunities for collaboration to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes
  • A proactive "can-do" attitude and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
