Reporting to: Head, Marketing & Sustainable Sponsorships
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 5.30pm
The candidate is responsible for the overall management of the Volunteer programme and provides key administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of activities. This role is crucial in engaging both internal and external stakeholders, including the community, supporting beneficiaries, and upholding the high standards of Child at Street 11 and its activities. The individual will also work to enhance and develop the Centre’s visibility and reach, ensuring its services are well received and recognized.
Responsibilities
Volunteer Management
- Coordinate the recruitment, onboarding, and orientation of new volunteers.
- Maintain and regularly update the volunteer database using appropriate software systems.
- Assign volunteers to roles based on their interests, availability, and organizational needs (e.g., student programmes, art, administration, events, sessions).
- Ensure all volunteer information forms and waiver forms are completed and stored securely.
- Communicate Centre’s policies, procedures, and code of conduct to all volunteers.
- Organise and support volunteer training sessions.
- Monitor volunteer attendance, engagement, and performance, providing feedback and support.
- Foster a positive and inclusive volunteer culture, recognising contributions and addressing concerns promptly.
- Collaborate with private and government agencies to build volunteer engagements and attend relevant management programmes.
- Plan and execute bi-annual volunteer appreciation events.
Teaching Duties
- Review and assess current activities and their impact on the After School Care group.
- Develop and review Student Portfolios for clarity and future reference.
- Update academic and general progress of all After School Care children.
- Identify areas and subjects requiring specific support for students.
- Assist with general review and support for Nursery and Kindergarten classes.
- Support Nursery and Kindergarten teachers with activities and curriculum implementation.
- Update areas requiring support to aid child development.
Administrative Duties
- Assist with campaigns related to sponsorships and volunteer engagements.
- Review and develop content for the Centre’s corporate website.
- Utilize online resources, including social media, to enhance visibility and outreach.
- Assist with marketing collateral development.
- Support general office administration, including filing, data entry, and correspondence.
- Coordinate events, managing volunteer deployment and logistics.
- Maintain and update databases of volunteers and sponsors.
- Ensure compliance with data protection policies, maintaining confidentiality.
- Prepare reports on volunteer activities and administrative matters.
- Manage relationships with suppliers for purchases and services.
