Assistant Manager, Treasury

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in overseeing daily cash flow planning for the Group's subsidiaries, aiming to minimize financing costs and reduce idle funds.
• Collaborate with treasury teams across various Group subsidiaries to gather, validate, and analyze their short-term and long-term liquidity needs.
• Prepare detailed treasury updates and presentations for management reviews and decision-making processes.
• Initiate and support treasury process improvement initiatives, including automation efforts.
• Ensure compliance of treasury operations with relevant internal controls and regulatory requirements.
• Organize and coordinate monthly Treasury meetings with representatives from different subsidiaries.
• Perform any other ad-hoc tasks as required.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Economics, Banking, Finance, Business, Accounting, or equivalent qualifications such as ACCA or CIMA.
• A minimum of 5-10 years of relevant experience in Treasury, with a focus on daily cash flow planning for multiple subsidiaries, particularly in understanding trade financing facilities in regions like Singapore, Malaysia, and Indonesia.
• Preference for candidates with:
• Experience in cash flow management through effective working capital bank line utilization.
• Basic knowledge of banking facility documentation to safeguard the organization's interests.
• Understanding of AML and sanctions compliance requirements imposed by banks.
• Experience managing banking relationships and cash flows for businesses based in Malaysia.
• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in MS Excel, including Pivot Tables, and Power BI.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, demanding environment while effectively managing multiple priorities.
• Capability to coordinate across multiple time zones as needed.
• A self-motivated team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
