Job summary

Kerry Consulting PTE. LTD. is recruiting on behalf of a leading international energy and infrastructure group for an experienced Trade Finance professional in Singapore.

You will support end-to-end trade finance activities across the trading, financing and banking functions, reviewing contracts and preparing LC, SBLCs and bank guarantees. The ideal candidate has a finance degree and at least 8 years of trade finance experience, preferably in commodities trading or banking, with strong knowledge

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance or related discipline.
• At least 8 years of trade finance experience, preferably in a commodities trading company or bank.
• Strong knowledge of trade finance instruments, import/export documentation, trade financing, payment settlements and banking facilities.
• Experience with Konsole and Kyriba is advantageous.
• Strong stakeholder-management skills and ability to work independently in a fast-paced trading environment.

Responsibilities

• Review purchase and sales contracts for trade finance implications.
• Prepare import/export documents such as LCs, SBLCs and bank guarantees.
• Manage invoices and payment settlements with counterparties and banks.
• Perform treasury activities and record financing costs in the NOVA trading system for accurate trade P&L.
• Arrange trade financing and strengthen banking relationships across Asia Pacific.
