Position Summary

This role will support the design, communication, implementation, and administration of Total Rewards programs and contribute to Samsung's regional efforts in delivering total rewards initiatives and solutions. It offers an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact on our organization’s total rewards strategies and contribute to attracting and retaining top talent.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Conduct compensation and benefits (C&B) analysis, interpret data, and assess internal and external equity for Singapore and SEAO level.
  • Evaluate current C&B programs and processes and recommend optimization.
  • Administer compensation programs and initiatives, including annual rewards cycle and all C&B related programs.
  • Prepare salary package proposals for employees in Singapore and review packages for other SEAO countries as needed.
  • Support the design and delivery of compensation and benefits programs.
  • Participate in surveys and support pay band development.
  • Perform other duties and contribute to rewards projects as needed.
  • Manage C&B related HRIS (Workday) modules.
  • Communicate with third-party services to negotiate benefit plans and resolve benefit-related issues.
  • Collaborate closely with the HR team in SEAO on all rewards matters.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Degree in a related discipline with at least 5 years of experience in compensation and benefits, preferably at the regional level.
  • Good understanding of compensation and benefits practices, regulations, compliance requirements, and market trends.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey compensation-related information to HR, management, and employees.
  • High integrity and ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and working knowledge of Workday and Mercer data.
