Position: Assistant Manager, Talent & Culture (Talent Acquisition)

Summary of Responsibilities:

The main responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Managing the recruitment process, including employee requisitions, replacements, promotions, transfers, deployment, redesignations, and resignations, aligned with payroll and headcount budgets.
  • Guiding the Talent Acquisition team and monitoring recruitment and colleague movement activities.
  • Utilizing various recruitment methods such as company search engines, media ads, collaborations with hospitality institutions, employment agencies, executive search firms, social media platforms like LinkedIn, and internal notices to fulfill manpower needs.
  • Building positive relationships with government and external agencies such as e2i, SGCareers, SHATEC for job fair participation and follow-up.
  • Collaborating with Marketing to ensure recruitment collaterals are current and compliant with ACCOR guidelines.
  • Ensuring compliance with MOM regulations in recruiting foreign colleagues and managers.
  • Preparing monthly headcount and turnover reports, and closely monitoring hotel quota situations.
  • Assisting in the preparation of annual recruitment budgets and long-term plans with the Director/Asst Director of Talent & Culture.
  • Conducting exit interviews and using feedback to recommend employee retention programs.
  • Maintaining accurate and updated colleague and management personnel files in the HRI system and through regular filing.
  • Ensuring enforcement and documentation of all mandatory legislated programs.
  • Complying with ACCOR audit requirements related to recruitment.
  • Updating employee personal data regularly, including next of kin information for emergencies.
  • Conducting induction and training related to recruitment and employment terms.
  • Adhering to hotel and departmental policies and procedures.
  • Preparing proposal files for annual increments and bonus payouts.
  • Preparing reports such as Mercer Annual Salary Survey and Fairmont Annual Salary Review.
  • Conducting reference checks and profiling assessments when necessary.
  • Managing relationships with recruitment agencies and headhunters, negotiating fees.
  • Partnering with Business Units to provide guidance and advisory.
  • Performing other duties as assigned by Hotel Management.
