About GrabRentals:

GrabRentals (GR) is a core part of Grab's Mobility business, focused on securing vehicle and driver-partner supply for our ride-hailing marketplace.

Team Overview:

The GrabRentals team handles strategy, partner management, pricing, product design, sales, marketing, and operations, working closely with other Grab teams across business, tech, and analytics.

Role Focus:

As part of the Strategic Projects team, you will oversee growth projects, including deploying new transportation modes. You will coordinate complex projects and manage daily on-road operations to ensure seamless execution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage projects between internal teams and external partners such as technology providers and regulatory bodies.
  • Bridge operations and product/engineering teams, translating operational insights into product improvements.
  • Oversee daily fleet operations, including vehicle prep and maintenance.
  • Monitor KPIs related to safety, uptime, and performance, providing insights for improvement.
  • Develop and refine SOPs for safety, incident response, and coordination.
  • Implement change management for new initiatives and policies.

Qualifications:

  • Degree in business, engineering, supply chain, or economics.
  • 3-5 years in strategy, operations, or project management, preferably in tech, automotive, or transportation sectors.
  • Experience with autonomous vehicles, robotics, or IoT is a plus.
  • Knowledge of safety management systems and risk assessment.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-changing environment.
  • Strong analytical skills with large datasets.
  • Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
