Job description

The Assistant Manager/Senior IT Administrator is responsible for managing and securing the enterprise IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, cloud environments, and cybersecurity. This role involves administering VMware, Windows/Linux servers, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, Storage & Backup and Firewalls while ensuring high availability and compliance. The candidate will oversee network operations, including L2/L3 switches, routers, and VPNs, and implement robust backup and disaster recovery solutions. Managing IT asset inventory and virtualization is essential for operational efficiency. The role requires troubleshooting, vendor coordination, and strategic planning to align IT with business goals. Shall work for security and vulnerability management, including firewall monitoring, endpoint protection, VAPT audits, and compliance with industry standards.

Requirements
  1. Administer and monitor VMware vCenter, Windows/Linux servers, Active Directory, Exchange, and Fortinet Firewall/VPN.

  2. Manage Microsoft 365 accounts, security policies, MFA activations, and compliance with best practices.

  3. Oversee IT asset inventory, backup solutions (Veeam, Synology, AWS), and ensure disaster recovery readiness.

  4. Deploy and configure desktops, servers, and critical network security settings using Microsoft Intune and Entra ID.

  5. Establish and manage network infrastructure, including physical-to-virtual transitions, and monitor L2/L3 switches, routers, and firewalls.

  6. Provide advanced IT support, perform root cause analysis, and manage IT service requests via ITSM platforms.

  7. Implement security measures, monitor firewall logs, conduct audits, and manage endpoint protection solutions.

  8. Maintain and enhance AWS cloud infrastructure, backup solutions, and evaluate cloud-based security tools.

  9. Automate IT monitoring, reporting, and self-service workflows to improve operational efficiency.

  10. Ensure IT stability, security, and compliance, including firewall monitoring, endpoint protection, VAPT audits, and compliance.
