Key Responsibilities
- Manage new and upgrading works for the Airfreight Terminals.
- Plan and implement maintenance and upgrades to meet evolving business and operations needs for the Material Handling System (MHS), vehicle fleet and equipment.
- Prepare technical specifications for the supply and installation of new electronic systems/sub-systems and ensures that such products conform to specific requirements;
- Work with internal and external stakeholders to ensure a high level of equipment reliability and service levels
- Manage installation, testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, training and maintenance of Window & Oracle OS Servers, Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) and Supervisory Control & Data Acquisition (SCADA) software for Material Handling System and Airfreight Terminals equipment.
- To ensure the processes and documentations are in-compliance with ISO 9001 & 14000 requirements.
- To ensure systems, vehicles and equipment are in-compliance with regulatory requirements and best practices.
- Undertake projects that will improve work methods and services with high standards of quality, safety and reliability to achieve operational efficiency and excellence.
- Prepare management reports for approval.
- Any other tasks as assigned by his / her superiors.
Key Requirements
- Degree in Engineering/ IT or relevant disciplines with at least 3 years of relevant experience in process automation environment.
- Hands-on experience in programming logic controller in automation system.
- Experience in installation, testing, commissioning and maintaining process plant/IT infrastructure and ensure reliability and efficiency
- Knowledge in the design, operation and airfreight systems, fleet management and equipment servicing will be advantageous
- Results-oriented, confident and resourceful.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
