Job description:
Grant Claims and Payment Management
Manage grant claim disbursements to ensure timely submission, disbursement, and tracking
Review and follow up on negative and outstanding claims via the Central Payment Gateway
Handle grant payments for AIC-assigned initiatives
Reporting, Analysis and Reconciliation
Prepare reports, analysis and cash flow reports on grant funding vs disbursement
Perform monthly reconciliation of grants projects and periodic vendor/service provider reconciliations
Governance and Compliance
Ensure compliance with internal controls and proper governance through post-payment reviews and workflow improvements
Support audits through data preparation and audit schedule coordination
Collaboration and Teamwork
Collaborate with business divisions to enhance processes and workflows
Review of monthly reconciliations and support Accounts Payable month-end closing activities
Job Requirements
Degree in business or accountancy or equivalent with at least 3 years of relevant work experience
Prior experience in handling accounts payable in large organisations and SAP are advantageous
Good knowledge and understanding of systems' process flow
Strong in verbal and written communication skills
Good interpersonal skills and able to build rapport with stakeholders
Meticulous and good problem solving skills
Able to deliver results in fast paced environment
