Job Responsibilities
- Achieve sales targets by promoting the company's forwarding business and acquiring new potential customers to expand the customer portfolio.
- Identify new and existing business opportunities in forwarding and 3PL, establish and build pipelines, segment and develop key account customers, and strengthen business relationships.
- Act as the main contact for customer communication, liaising with operations teams and overseas offices to ensure inquiries, problems, and issues are addressed professionally.
- Collaborate with overseas agents, sharing customer and market information.
- Assist superiors in preparing monthly pipeline updates, targeting customers, tracking achievements, and reviewing business operations and plans.
- Generate sales leads and opportunities.
- Participate in sales strategy development and activities.
- Assess customer needs and match them with the company's services to acquire new business.
- Support senior sales managers in preparing weekly and monthly reports on pipelines, sales targets, budgeting, and new business opportunities.
- Monitor customer KPIs and initiatives to ensure the delivery of quality, reliable, and scalable services that meet customer satisfaction.
- Deliver volume and revenue targets for forwarding sales channels while focusing on relationship building and profitable sales.
- Guide junior and new sales staff through on-the-job training and shadowing to enable their success.
Role Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of customer-facing sales experience with a strong background in customer acquisition and account management within the freight forwarding industry.
- Strong selling, presentation, and analytical skills.
- Excellent personal presentation and strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications.
- Self-motivated and driven to plan and execute sales strategies.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to take initiative, prioritize work, and pay attention to detail.
- Ability to work under pressure and solve problems independently.
