Job description

We are looking for a proactive individual to contribute to regulatory policy efforts supporting Singapore’s growing electric vehicle (EV) ecosystem.

  • Play a key role in shaping regulations to ensure the safety, reliability, and accessibility of EV charging services.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment with opportunities to influence nation-wide sustainable initiatives.

Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the formulation and implementation of EV-related regulatory policies and licensing frameworks.
  • Translate regulatory requirements into actionable operational guidelines and processes.
  • Liaise with EV charging operators to ensure compliance and address non-conformance issues.
  • Assist in shaping and administering the licensing regime under the Electric Vehicles Charging Act (EVCA).
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and industry stakeholders to support regulatory implementation.
  • Provide policy advice to support safe and business-friendly EV charging infrastructure rollout.

Job Requirements:

  • Background in regulatory policy, compliance, or a related discipline.
  • Prior experience in policy development, regulatory operations, or licensing work.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Able to multitask and manage various initiatives simultaneously.
  • Strong problem-solving ability to recommend efficient use of regulatory resources.
  • Interest or foundational knowledge in EV systems or electrical infrastructure will be advantageous.
