Role Overview

The Assistant Manager, Program & Development will provide key support across the ESR Data Centre platform's development activities across the region. This role will work closely with internal teams (development, investment, asset management) and external stakeholders (consultants, contractors, and partners) to help track project progress, assist with reporting, and support early-stage and ongoing project requirements. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone looking to grow their experience in digital infrastructure and institutional real estate development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support ongoing development activities across the full project lifecycle, from early planning through to delivery
  • Assist with regular project reporting, including asset-level updates, program schedules, risk logs, and milestone tracking
  • Coordinate with local construction teams and consultants to gather updates and inputs for reporting and documentation
  • Help the investment and development teams prepare project budgets, timelines, and capital expenditure summaries
  • Support early-stage project activities such as consultant onboarding, tender processes, and documentation preparation
  • Support the platform’s quality, safety, and EHS ISO initiatives
  • Assist in reviewing cost plans, schedules, and procurement inputs
  • Work with cross-functional teams (Investment, Legal, Asset Management) to support alignment of project assumptions and risks
  • Maintain accurate records, trackers, and high-quality presentation materials for internal and external use

Requirements

  • Degree or relevant practical experience in Quantity Surveying, Construction/Project Management, Real Estate, Engineering, or a related field
  • Minimally 2-3 years of relevant experience in real estate, construction, or infrastructure-related roles
  • Good understanding of how development projects are managed and delivered
  • Knowledge of budgeting, scheduling, and consultant coordination
  • Comfortable with Excel, PowerPoint, and project tracking tools (e.g., MS Project or similar)
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to organise and present information clearly
  • Willingness to learn and contribute to a high-performing and fast-paced team
  • Exposure to data centres or technical real estate sectors is a plus
  • Experience working in or with institutional investment or development teams is an advantage
