Job Description

  • Assist the HOD in formulating strategies, developing business initiatives and planning campaigns for developing and expanding the Singapore Motor portfolio.
  • Responsible for Renewal Notice preparations – update the renewal templates, formulae, perform sense check, ensure data integrity and completeness within completion deadlines.
  • Involved in Renewal Process optimisation, and onboarding of new renewal workflows
  • Update and Maintain Power BI Dashboards.
  • Perform costs-and-benefits analysis for Motor campaigns.
  • Work closely with Underwriting Team to understand and support pricing structure and decision.
  • Conduct business reviews of portfolio, schemes, arrangements. Identify weaknesses and opportunities and make recommendations.
  • Work closely with regional teams, actuaries, IT and other stakeholders to support Motor initiatives and data requests.
  • Familiar with Singapore insurance regulations.
  • Support system UAT and training as required.
  • Prepare regular business reviews for main and other accounts as assigned by HOD and Managers.
  • Provide regular Market Intel and business insights/analysis – HOD view and business reviews

Role Requirements

  • Diploma / Degree - preferably specialising in Insurance, Mathematics, Computer Science, Data Science
  • Certificate in General Insurance (CGI) is preferred
  • At least 3 years of relevant experience, especially in insurance, mathematics, data analytics
  • Strong inter-personal, problem solving skills. Driven self-starter
  • Strong ability to work independently, as well as a team
  • Proactive in taking initiatives and takes ownership
  • Essential skills: Microsoft Office (Proficient in Excel, Pivot, Powerpoint). SQL, VBA – proficient.
  • Other skills (essential, required) - Earnix , Power BI Dashboard
