As the Assistant Manager, Payroll, you will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end payroll processes. You will lead a team of payroll specialists to ensure timely and accurate payroll delivery, statutory compliance, and seamless stakeholder management.

Description
- Supervise day-to-day payroll operations including pre-payroll setup, payroll processing, and post-payroll activities like IRAS submissions and month-end closing.
- Manage employee data updates, CPF processing, government claims, and payroll-related payments.
- Ensure timely and accurate submission of statutory requirements (IRAS, CPF, etc.).
- Lead and coach a team of payroll staff to ensure operational excellence and client satisfaction.
- Partner with HR, Finance, and other key stakeholders to support payroll activities and business readiness.
- Identify opportunities to streamline payroll processes and strengthen internal controls.
- Serve as point of contact for internal/external auditors and tax agents on payroll matters.
- Provide coverage and support for payroll processing across multiple entities as needed.
Profile
- Experience in managing high-volume, outsourced payroll operations.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent client management and interpersonal communication abilities.
- In-depth knowledge of Singapore's statutory payroll requirements.
- Ability to perform under pressure and deliver accurate results within tight deadlines.
- Meticulous, organized, and process-driven with a continuous improvement mindset.
