A leading company in the engineering sector is looking for a Manager of Operations Support to oversee their daily operations and enhance efficiency. The successful candidate will manage a team, engage with various stakeholders, and ensure thorough documentation for all projects and services provided. This role requires strong leadership and a finance background, along with proficiency in tools like Excel and SAP. Ideal for candidates with significant experience in operations support.
Responsibilities:
To lead and manage the day-to-day operations of all or some of the following functions to ensure effective and efficient support to fulfil company’s operational needs including:
Supervise a team of staff and provide guidance in decisions making
Liaise with various stakeholders on day to day operations including Finance, internal and external auditors, IT and users
Oversee and approve overall project administration, including job opening, job amendment, billing, and job closure, ensuring proper documentation for various line of business (LOBs)
Review Job opening or Job amendment against Project documentation and contracts
Verify Sales Orders and billing/credit notes for Projects /Service Maintenance / Trading
Verify sales confirmationfor sales recognition
Verify outgoing shipment report for adjustment for non-billable shipment to Tax Team
Oversee and consolidate the preparation of the Order Analysis Report
Assist in data migration
Assist to update SOP for operations support
Requirements:
Degree in any discipline with finance background
At least 3 years experiences in operations support
Strong in Excel and MS word office and SAP
Team player who can adhere to tight deadline
