An established industry player is seeking an Assistant Manager for Operations to lead and oversee the daily care and operational activities at a community care center. This role involves supervising staff, ensuring quality care for clients, and collaborating with healthcare partners to meet specific needs. Job Description:
Perform intake assessment and review of day care clients and oversee Multi-Disciplinary Meetings for reviews of clients including Day Rehab clients.
Supervise daily routines such as meal preparation, serving of meals, preparing clients for activities, conducting of activities, reviews of clients, and cleaning duties of care staff.
Work with centre nurse and care staff to ensure clients' specific needs (ADLs) are met and communicated to the team.
Co-ordinate and plan programmes and services with internal and external stakeholders.
Direct, guide, and participate in the orientation and training of new staff and provide ongoing training and monitoring of care staff in the area of provision of care to day care clients and clients with dementia.
Take charge of daily operations and care provisions of clients, supervise and deploy staff to ensure operations are safe and effective.
Take charge of incidents in the centre related to staff, clients, and volunteers to ensure that the incident is resolved, reported, and followed up.
Work with Centralised Team to ensure accurate billing and charges for clients and follow up on staff-related matters.
Work with Cluster Lead to ensure financial sustainability of the centre.
Ensure accurate and timely documentation of communications, assessments, and processes.
Carry out other responsibilities and duties as assigned from time to time.
Requirements:
Min. recognized degree in any discipline.
A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a clinical area such as acute or community hospital, of which at least 2 years in a leadership position.
Good knowledge of the healthcare environment and service processes is important.
Experience in community care provision is an added advantage.
Integrity, highly motivated, a team leader, and able to maintain good interpersonal relationships in collaboration with various partners in the healthcare system.
